We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Housing Investment Team as a Leasehold and Service Charge Officer. The role: You will be the first point of contact for leaseholders, managing leasehold services income, property management, and addressing complex queries regarding annual service charges and major works. You will play a key role in ensuring the council maximises income through effective management of approximately 115 leasehold properties, with opportunities to manage additional properties as the portfolio grows. What you will need: Previous experience in leasehold or property management is essential. Strong understanding of service charge processes, lease agreements, and property management practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle complex queries and provide clear advice. Strong problem-solving skills and experience in dispute resolution.
