What does this Care Assistant job involve?
Hours of Work:40 Hours Per Week - Shifts between 07:00 - 20:00
A Care Assistant provides essential support to clients, enhancing their daily lives through:
• Personal Care: Assisting with hygiene, mobility, and medication reminders.
• Health Monitoring: Observing changes, reporting to the line manager, and coordinating care.
• Companionship & Engagement: Encouraging social interaction and meaningful activities.
• Event & Community Participation: Taking clients to life-enriching events and outings.
• Household Assistance: Meal prep, light cleaning, and ensuring a safe environment.
• Documentation & Advocacy: Keeping records, updating families, and connecting clients to resources.
Am I the right person for this Care Assistant job?
• Education: NVQ Level 2 certification (preferred).
• Experience: Prior caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Skills: Strong communication, patience, empathy, and organization.
• Duties: Assist with daily activities, health monitoring, and companionship.
• Physical & Legal: Ability to assist with lift/move clients in a safe manner (training will be provided) valid driver’s license (required), and background check.
