Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube, LinkedIn, and web. Collaborate with strategic partners to boost brand reach and awareness. Involve students and internal teams to generate authentic, community-led content. Track trends and innovate in digital storytelling and platform use. Content Creation & Platform Management Lead content creation and ensure consistent brand voice across all channels. Manage website UX, content flow, and SEO best practices. Deliver creative assets — from graphics to video thumbnails and ads. Implement A/B testing to continually optimise content performance. Analytics & Performance Monitor and analyse website traffic, engagement, and social metrics. Use data to shape strategy and improve audience conversion. Provide regular KPI reports (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.). Collaboration & Campaign Support Work closely with marketing teams on integrated campaigns. Train internal staff on digital tools and best practices. Lead SEO initiatives and liaise with external suppliers on digital projects. Team & Stakeholder Engagement Mentor junior staff and student content creators. Provide digital strategy advice to senior stakeholders. Support planning sessions, reviews, and reports. Ensure all content meets GDPR and accessibility standards. Person Specification Essential Criteria Degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or equivalent experience. Proven experience leading content strategies and managing social platforms. Strong technical skills with tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, WordPress, Umbraco, Google Analytics, Power BI. Solid understanding of SEO, UX/UI, and digital performance metrics. Confident in creating digital assets with Canva, Adobe Suite, or video editing tools. Highly organised, proactive, and confident working cross-functionally. Desirable Criteria Experience in esports, gaming, or creative digital industries. Familiarity with monetising content or digital platforms. Experience managing staff or engaging senior stakeholders. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, Google Ads, or social ad platforms.
