Job Description: Transport Support Assistant
As a Transport Support Assistant, you will work in a team that operates under pressure in new environments daily. Your main responsibilities will be in our Transport Airside & Landside operations and Dispatch. Attention to detail is crucial as you will supervise the inflight catering screening process.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Perform security checks on airline equipment in accordance with CAA and DfT regulations
2. Conduct vehicle security searches following regulatory standards
3. Manage requisitions and load airline food and catering supplies into delivery trucks
4. Ensure timely delivery of catering components to drivers for each flight
5. Assist in aircraft catering and de-catering as per block plans and allocator instructions
6. Follow correct galley plans for aircraft catering
7. Complete all catering and de-catering tasks on time, adhering to SLAs
8. Move inbound catering and equipment from trucks to wash and pick & pack areas
9. Use effective communication to minimize delays and resolve issues
10. Work efficiently under pressure and multitask as needed
11. Lift and push approximately 50 lbs
12. Pack carts and production trolleys according to standards and passenger volumes
13. Meet production and dock schedules
14. Support other departments to maintain production and dispatch schedules
15. Ensure all products and equipment meet quality standards before leaving the unit
16. Rotate stock to maximize shelf life in dispatch and the unit
17. Follow COSHH and HACCP protocols at all times
18. Maintain cleanliness standards ('clean as you go')
19. Adhere to COVID-19 safety measures
20. Comply with inflight services security protocols
21. Interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and clients
22. Support CSR initiatives and perform other duties as assigned by your manager
