Sitting in Vodafone UK Professional Services, the Project Manager role is customer facing and is involved with the end to end management of large, complex, customer-facing projects either independently or as part of programmes to time, cost, and quality criteria, whilst operating within the established organisational delivery framework. Key accountabilities: • Planning & Control Create detailed project plans encompassing all deliverables & ensuring stakeholder buy-in. Manage change control using the appropriate processes. • Leadership, Communication & Stakeholder Management Create and sustain collaborative working relationships across customers, suppliers, and internal delivery teams, whilst defining clear roles and responsibilities. • Financial Management Maintaining a project finance tracker and utilizing change control for cost variation from original baselines. To ensure WBS codes match the project structure and are shared with the relevant stakeholders. Managing project billing milestones within the designated management reporting tool. Having a complete understanding of change control governance and procedures. Aware of the commercial impact of change can affect including cost ownership, milestone status, project margin, total contract value (TCV) and aligned resource. • Project Governance & Methodology Complies with Vodafone Project Delivery Framework methodology which is supported by industry project management standards such as PRINCE2. • Risk & Issue Management Establishing & maintaining a ‘Risk and Issue’ register, whilst identifying new risks and responses as well as mitigation strategies throughout the lifecycle of projects. Who you are • Prince2 Practitioner qualification is required for this role • Significant Project Management experience of managing large and complex customer/client facing projects • Proven leadership and collaborative skills to manage cross functional teams and senior stakeholders • Delivery experience spanning a varied Technology focussed project environment • Experience or knowledge of Fixed Line Telecommunications Technologies (e.g. SDWAN, LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Cloud) is advantageous but not required Please note, the ability to achieve and maintain Security Clearance (SC) is required for this role.
