We are seeking a friendly and efficient Receptionist to join our team at Priority House, Maidstone. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a vital role in providing a welcoming and professional service. This role combines traditional reception duties with essential site-specific responsibilities, including mail handling.
Working Hours: Monday and Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM, and every other Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answering and directing incoming calls, ensuring accurate routing and maintaining an up-to-date telephone directory.
* Providing a professional and courteous welcome to visitors, ensuring they are signed in and directed appropriately.
* Proactively identifying and reporting any issues or concerns that arise.
* Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including franking outgoing mail and sorting incoming mail for distribution.
* Providing general administrative support as required.
* To provide a courteous reception service to all visitors/staff and patients in order to maintain the professional image of the Unit.
* Ensure smooth running of office equipment (photocopier, fax, shredder) and organize a call out if unable to solve the problem.
* Transferring calls to the correct departments and updating telephone numbers.
