Novotel London WestHotel is part of Accor, the leading global hospitality group. It is one of the largest conference and accommodation providers within Accor. The hotel provides the international business community with space for up to 3000 delegates across 33 meeting rooms. It accommodates both business and leisure guests in one of our 630 bedrooms.
We are looking for an organized, responsible, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Night Manager to bebe the key point of contact for guests and staff during the night shift, ensuring a high standard of service, safety, and efficiency. This position is ideal for a confident leader who excels in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and can work independently to maintain the smooth running of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate all night shift operations, ensuring a seamless handover to the morning team.
* Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
* Perform regular security patrols and monitor surveillance systems to maintain the safety and security of all guests and staff.
* Complete financial reconciliation tasks, assist with end-of-day reporting, and prepare financial summaries for management.
* Support, motivate, and guide night team members, addressing any issues and ensuring adherence to company policies.
* Act as the primary contact for any nighttime emergencies, managing and coordinating responses effectively.
To ensure you will be successful in your role you will need to possess:
* At least least 2 years experience in the hotel industry in a similar role.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken (and a 2nd language would be a plus).
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills - A strong team player.
* Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example.
* Experience in the following systems desirable: Opera Cloud, ResaWeb, Hotelink.
* Capable of organizing time and work efficiently.
* Must be legally eligible to work in UK.
