Laboris Solutions are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks to join my client's dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing mechanical projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks to ensure timely completion.
2. Design and Development: Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed models, assemblies, and technical drawings for mechanical components and systems.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs.
4. Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical designs to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
5. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
6. Quality Assurance: Implement and adhere to quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of mechanical design and manufacturing.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices in mechanical design and project management.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and project management, with a strong focus on using SolidWorks.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks.
4. Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
6. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines.
