We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Nurse or trainee to join our team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients, and maintaining a clean and organised dental surgery. You will also be required to assist on reception when needed.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the dentist during dental procedures
2. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise dental instruments
3. Develop dental X-rays
4. Provide chairside support to the dentist
5. Ensure the comfort of patients during procedures
6. Maintain accurate patient records
7. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
8. Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Skills:
1. Nursing skills: Ability to provide excellent patient care and assist the dentist during procedures.
2. IT skills: Proficiency in using dental software for patient record management.
3. Patient care: Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
4. Organisational skills: Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and maintain an organised work environment.
5. English proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
6. Communication skills: Effective communication with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
