This school is looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and nurture pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2, fostering their curiosity and love for learning. This role begins March 2025.
Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Assess, track, and report on pupils’ progress, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged appropriately
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and independence
* Develop pupils' literacy and numeracy skills through creative and interactive teaching methods
* Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support the overall development of each child
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and establish clear expectations in the classroom
* Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
Ideal Year 3 Teacher:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience or strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Be passionate about supporting children’s academic and personal development
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and creative teaching strategies
* Be committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment
* Be a reflective practitioner who is eager to develop their skills as a Year 3 Teacher.
