The Arts Service at Warwick District Council are looking for a part time Marketing Officer to join the Programming and Marketing Team. The Arts Service manage the Royal Spa Centre (theatre/cinema/event space), the Royal Pump Rooms and Leamington Town Hall. The Marketing Officer will be responsible for maximising attendance at the programme of shows and films at the Royal Spa Centre and the exhibitions and events at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum (located in the Royal Pump Rooms). The position is 18.5 hours a week, our preference is that these hours are worked a half day on Monday mornings and a full day both Tuesday and Friday. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who is passionate about marketing, has a sound knowledge of marketing principles, and has some understanding of the arts industries. Being a team player as well as having initiative to work independently is essential. Day to day duties involve management of print and distribution, creating content and posting on social media channels, production and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns, evaluating campaign success and collaborating with teams within the Arts Service and wider council. This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to develop a burgeoning marketing career in the Arts, and who loves to get involved in lots of different projects. The ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload will need to be demonstrated and evidenced in the application. This post is based at the Royal Spa Centre and Royal Pump Rooms offices with occasional home working.
