Purchase Ledger Clerk
Ashton Healthcare Group Limited is a trading group based in Haywards Heath, operating a number of Nursing Homes in the South-East.
We are seeking to recruit a motivated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our accounts team in our head office in Haywards Heath. You will work as part of a small team of hard working, driven and dedicated individuals, reporting to the Finance Manager.
Whilst experience is beneficial, on the job training will be provided.
Duties will include:
1. Answering phone calls from customers and suppliers.
2. Monitoring the Accounts email inboxes. Saving electronic supplier invoices as pdfs and uploading to Sage for processing.
3. Scanning hard copy supplier invoices and saving as pdfs to be uploaded to Sage for processing.
4. Entering New Supplier information onto Sage 50.
5. Reconciling supplier statements to our Accounts records and contacting suppliers for missing invoices.
6. Monitoring PO Requests email and raising purchase orders.
7. Ad-hoc duties as part of a busy accounts team and providing holiday cover as required.
About You:
1. Good communicator, both written and oral.
2. Numerate.
3. IT literate with good knowledge of Excel. Sage 50 knowledge is beneficial but not necessary.
4. An analytic & proactive attitude and approach to duties.
5. Disciplined and organised.

Salary dependant on experience.
Hours – 8.30 am-4.30 pm, Mon-Fri.
Immediate start preferred.
