Position: Vehicle Polisher
Location: East of England Showground, Peterborough (PE2 6XE)
Work Patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours (09:00-17:30)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities:
1. To carry out repairs to vehicles using best practice techniques, incorporating customer approved repair methods and demo standards.
2. Polish vehicles which have been prepped by other team members and correct any faults or defects.
3. To ensure all repairs are documented to meet with company policy and quality standards.
4. Ensure that all site Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to and practiced.
5. Ensure all systems for recording time are adhered to on each repair.
6. Communicate with other team members, also workshop/accounts teams and Bodyshop Team Leaders.
7. Able to pick up repairs from other team members and complete for delivery/Bookings.
8. Ensure all repairs are carried out efficiently and with minimum cost of time and materials, to meet the 4 day turnaround time for body shop repairs.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in motor trade environment/ Bodyshop is essential.
2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
3. IMI Level 3 or equivalent qualification in vehicle body repairs is essential.
4. Systematic and organised: Pays attention to the finer details.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
7. Work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
8. Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
9. Valid driver's license.
