RECfinancial is exclusively partnering with a large privately owned Leicester based FMCG business in the appointment of a new Commercial Accountant. The role will be based at the firm's Leicester site which is commutable from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby, Northamptonshire and Coventry / Warwickshire. The role offers hybrid working at 3/2. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this exciting Commercial Accountant role is 100% focused on the businesses commercial activities and has zero exposure to monthly accounting. In this pure business partnering and analytical role responsibilities will include partnering with the senior leadership to drive insight into sales, margin, cost savings and forecasting. Time spent in the role will predominantly be business partnering, supporting and challenging the business to make better decisions through insight and analysis. You will work with the senior teams to drive margins and profitability, the role will also include working on growing the existing customer spends and new work tendering from an analysis and BP point of view. The role is an exciting appointment for the business and its best described as no weeks being the same. The business is innovative in its products and does not stand still in its market. They have a significant focus on innovation. They are keen to hire a candidate who will have started their career in accounting and be qualified in either the CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification. Your experience in recent years will be focused around commercial analysis and business partnering and your cv will demonstrate the value that you have added in your recent role.
