Job Description - Trading Performance Improvement Manager (15557)
The Role
easyJet wants to build a world-class Commercial function, delivering industry-leading revenue performance across our network. The Trading Performance Improvement Manager will play a critical role within our Trading and Revenue Management team to drive the execution of easyJet’s trading evolution and ways of working strategy.
Reporting into easyJet’s Head of Trading Performance Improvement, you will participate in the development of non-pricing insight, business processes, reporting, and training to bring our strategy to life. The role also involves collaborating with key stakeholders across the broader Commercial team and other departments to develop a more holistic approach to Trading.
How you will do it:
1. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business (Trading, Marketing, e-commerce, Ancillaries, Distribution, EJ Holidays) to lead a more holistic approach to achieving Trading goals.
2. Work with the Senior Merchandising Transformation Manager and the wider Commercial Transformation team to ensure that Trading & RM requirements are captured, tested and delivered as part of the CORE project in relation to ticket and bundle promotions.
3. Work closely with the Distribution & Channels team to identify opportunities for series seats sales or whole plane charters to improve revenue performance in underperforming routes/countries and provide full transparency to the Trading team.
4. Develop a close working relationship with the easyJet Holidays Trading team to identify opportunities where they can support Airline trading whilst considering end-to-end profitability and current discount levels, collaborating on future strategy and ways of working.
5. Develop a promotional strategy with the Central Marketing team to plan optimal times in the year for cross-network campaigns (e.g. The Big Orange Sale) and more tactical campaigns such as weekly deals and flash sales.
6. Coordinate schedule release calendar and activity across the business to ensure an aligned cross-departmental strategy. Maintain a cycle of continuous improvement by reviewing the performance for each release and suggesting improvements for the future.
7. Review the 3rd party competitor tools available (Similarweb, Skyscanner, Google) and democratize the data for the Trading (and wider) team by educating how best to use each tool for its purpose and distributing key insights regularly.
8. Understand and review the demand environment regularly, sharing insights and recommendations with the Trading & RM team on how this impacts trading performance. Share output with the Marketing & Digital teams to address any impact on trading performance.
9. Coordinate training opportunities for the Trading & RM team and the improvement of processes that involve stakeholders outside of the Trading & RM team such as series seat sales & schedule release.
Requirements of the Role
What you will need to do the role:
1. Experienced – strong knowledge of aviation/travel industry. An analytical and numerical background with experience in trading/revenue management, preferably with an understanding of marketing and digital.

Location & Hours of Work
We typically spend 60% of our time together as a team at our Luton Airport office.
