Trainer/Assessors – Permanent role, based in Glasgow.
The company delivers utility and construction sector training across the UK and Ireland to small, medium, and large organisations, inclusive of Water, Gas, Drainage, Telecoms, and Multi-Utility Companies.
Job Description
You will be required to deliver training for the water industry and assessment services at our client’s skills academy, head office, and locations across the UK. The role is 70% based in East Kilbride and 30% covering the UK and Ireland.
You will play a key role in the smooth running of operations within the company. You will be training individuals to reach their full potential, from apprentices to managers within the sector.
This is an office-based role working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Key Responsibilities of a Trainer Assessor
* Organise, plan, and deliver high-quality SVQ / NVQ qualifications, technical skills training, and assessments.
* Assist with regular reviews of training course materials to ensure they meet all requirements, standards, and legislation.
* Process and return post-training delivery course paperwork to a consistent and high-quality standard.
* Maintain CPD (Continues Professional Development) records and update continually.
* Deliver standardised training programmes, playing an active role in maintaining training materials, standards, and awarding organisation criteria to ensure they are up to date and relevant.
* Travelling to clients’ sites will form part of the role; you will be working away from home 30% of the time.
Requirements for this Trainer Assessor opportunity:
* Full UK Driving licence is essential.
* Must have experience in the water industry or sector, including working for water suppliers and experience on the water network, e.g., national water hygiene and DOMS, mains laying, service laying, leakage detection, repair and maintenance, wastewater treatment, high-pressure water jetting.
