Salary: £43,050-£51,540pa + Fantastic Benefits
Contract: Permanent, 37.5hrs
Our purpose-built endoscopy unit houses the latest technology including video endoscopy. We provide a range of upper and lower therapeutic and investigative procedures for our patients to include Argon Beam Therapy, Bronchoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Cystoscopy, and more. We are now looking for a Clinical Team Leader to join our professional team.

Role Overview:
The Clinical Team Leader has delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical areas including assessment of care needs, the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs of care and the setting of standards on a shift basis and in the authorized absence of the Deputy Matron /Unit Manager.
In conjunction with the senior team, the clinical team lead will be responsible for promoting an environment conducive to individual and team development, ensuring the delivery of high standards of patient care in line with clinical governance.
They will be easily identifiable, accessible, and a key figure to whom patients and their families can turn for assistance, advice, and support.
What you’ll do:
* Using their knowledge and experience to role model and drive up the standards of clinical care.
* Provide leadership and be highly visible and accessible to patients and staff.
* Support with identifying deficits and implement programs to address the issues with the delivery of patient care.
* Support quality improvement initiatives to drive up high-quality clinical care.
* Support the audit process to improve delivery of patient care.
* Support with monitoring standards of documentation within their areas ensuring compliance with the regulatory Codes of governing bodies.
* Support with identifying workforce shortfalls ensuring safe staffing levels in their area.
* Ensure professional concerns about standards of nursing care, staffing levels, and capability are addressed and escalated to their Deputy Matron as appropriate.
* Support with issues around safeguarding.
* Support staff to ensure clinical care is provided using an up-to-date evidence-based approach.
What you’ll bring:
* Adult Registered Nurse (NMC Pin)
* Endoscopy Nursing Experience (essential)
* Knowledge of NMC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice. RN with BSC or working towards one.
* Teaching/assessing qualification.
