Finance Business Partner The Role: To work with various business units within the specialty division to provide insight into financial performance, aid planning and forecasting, and deliver a strong reporting process. Responsibilities: Work in close partnership with the Regional Director and Head of Finance of Specialty to provide accurate and comprehensive annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts Conduct monthly review meetings with the Regional Director and other budget holders and to act as a key point of contact to support the business Monthly cost review to ensure costs are in line with budget with any deviations from plan reported and explained Provide monthly reporting to the Head of Finance and CEO of business performance against budget/forecast together with risks and opportunities for the remainder of the year Build strong relations and provide financial support to commercial decision making Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible Liaise with central finance Annual budgeting for Group central cost base as well as longer term planning (3 year) Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required Aid Integration of newly acquired businesses Support process and reporting development Experience: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Insurance industry experience Commercial Finance experience working in a fast-paced growth environment (over 5 years) Budgeting and Planning experience as well as monthly reporting Skills: Highly analytical with attention to detail Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines and driven by key objectives Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including Senior executive management Collaborating and coordinating with other parts of the business An Ambitious, self-starter who can take responsibility and work effectively under pressure Comfortable dealing with and leading through ambiguity and rapid change High level of resilience Proactive and collaborative approach Further information As well as a competitive salary we offer the following benefits - Competitive holiday allowance with the annual option to buy additional days Death in Service benefit of x4 salary Company pension scheme Enhanced maternity and paternity leave packages A flexible benefits package which allows you to add additional benefits to your overall package Our benefits portal offers discounts on technology & electronics, cinemas, restaurants, days out, mortgage advice, travel and many more Referral schemes Discounted rates on PIB products We offer a first-class employee benefits and welfare package to support our employees with financial management, cycle to work scheme, counselling support, health screening, will writing, menopause support, books, stopping smoking and much more If supporting the local community, engaging with charities and having the opportunity to ‘give something back’ interests you, you have the opportunity to take an extra day to support this with a Volunteering day.
