Electrical Installation Lecturer

* Salary Range: £28,100- £40,000 (A market supplement may apply subject to qualifications, skills, and experience)
We are excited to offer the opportunity for an inspirational and enthusiastic Electrical Installation Lecturer to join a great college group in South London. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and assessing on Levels 2-3 within the Construction department. If you are passionate about electrical installation and education, this could be the perfect role for you.
Day-to-day of the role of an Electrical Installations Lecturer:
* Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students on Levels 2-3 Electrical Installation courses.
* Act as a personal tutor, promoting attendance and supporting students' academic and personal development.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development, and review activities within the Construction department.
* Potentially lead one or more Electrical Installation programmes as Course Leader.
* Drive continuous improvement in teaching standards and student outcomes within the college.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Electrical Installation role:
* A full teaching qualification or currently working towards one.
* At least a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation.
* Relevant industry experience or qualifications in the field.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
* Desirable: Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
* Desirable: Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance (candidates with old qualifications like A1 or V1 must be willing to update to new standards).
