Electrical Lead Location: Hertfordshire, SG1 2DA Contract Type: Permanent As the Electrical Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the electrical and building services engineering across our site in Stevenage. Job Description Your core responsibilities will involve fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation of electrical and building systems. You will ensure that all sites are operational and meet the highest standards, contributing to the client's ongoing development. Key Responsibilities Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring completion within SLAs. Responsible for electrical PPM, proactive, and reactive works issued through the helpdesk, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded. Manage other types of building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC, mechanical, and related tasks. Provide callout response for the client as per the callout rota. Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring contractors' workmanship to meet relevant standards. Issue Permits to Work. Ensure all electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria. Ensure equipment and surrounding areas conform to agreed company standards. Provide a professional service, representing the company to ensure customer satisfaction. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Previous experience in a Supervisory/Lead role. Significant experience in providing electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, maintenance, installation, and inspection/testing. Extensive experience in reactive and PPM building services maintenance. Experience working within FM or building services in commercial properties. Familiarity with strict Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements. Electrical Bias – applicants must have the following electrical City & Guilds 2365, 2357 Level 3 and NVQ 2356 AM2. City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation and NVQ 2356 and AM2. City & Guilds 236/2360 in Electrical Installations Part 1 & 2. City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2018), preferably with A2 Amendment.
