An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 dynamic and innovative individuals to work as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Annex 21 working towards Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification within Medicine of the Elderly, Community Care Services. These posts are based within Tarvit Ward Adamson Hospital and Cameron Hospital.
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced nurses who will embrace the challenge of this exciting and rewarding role. You should be a registered nurse, who, acting within your professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of their care. You will demonstrate safe clinical decision making and expert care for patients.
As the ANP for these areas, you will have a responsibility to teach, supervise, assess, and mentor staff members including planning, prioritising, and delegating staff members' work.
You will work across all four Pillars of Practice, developing and maintaining professional and organisational relationships with the multidisciplinary team.
The ANPs will possess a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice and have demonstrable evidence of clinical competence, or be willing to undertake the identified training to progress to Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice.
Trainees are paid a percentage of the pay band maximum for the qualified rate which is dependent on the duration of the training period (see Terms and Conditions).
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
