Job Description : Shift Manager Huntsman has an opportunity for a Shift Manager to join our dedicated team at our Wilton Site, within the Polyurethanes division. The purpose of this role is to lead and develop the shift team who carry out daily operational activities, ensuring that the highest EHS standards are maintained and that the S&OP production requirements are met through liaison with the wider Wilton organisation. Huntsman is one of the world’s leading suppliers of materials and technology for Polyurethanes. Huntsman Polyurethanes, Wilton operates a COMAH regulated Nitrobenzene and Aniline facility. Apply today Role Responsibilities : As the Shift Manager, you will: Develop a high performing organisation and culture that maximises the contribution of the team to the achievement of Huntsman Polyurethanes business performance targets. Ensure that Corporate, Business and Site Safety, Health and Environmental policies are adhered to, to meet or exceed specific performance targets in each area. Ensure that assets are optimally operated to deliver the Business sales and operations plan, quality and customer service targets in each area. Support the Operations manager in developing and executing a continuous improvement programme for the Polyurethanes assets and their operation to meet agreed business objectives. Coach, support and facilitate the improvement of skills and behaviours in the team and through the mentoring role maximise the contribution of every employee. Oversee the short to medium term maintenance activities on the plant, ensuring compliance with EH&S procedures and ensuring that priorities set reflect operational needs. Co-ordinate and resolve significant out of hours changes to logistics arrangements or non-compliance issues with the local supply chain to ensure the smooth running of the operation and customer satisfaction. Skills & Experience Required : Minimum HNC in appropriate technical discipline. Significant experience working within chemical industry (or other highly regulated industry).
