We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to join our client team for a prestigious Super Prime Residential Project in Regent Street, London. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading Tier One Main Contractor, renowned for delivering high-quality, luxury developments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Package Management: Take full responsibility for managing packages within the project, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
* Variations: Monitor, assess, and manage variations on the project, providing accurate costing and negotiating with subcontractors.
* Remeasures: Conduct remeasures and ensure the correct interpretation of drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.
* Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain efficient workflows and resolve any issues related to cost, time, or quality.
* Prepare and maintain detailed cost reports and forecasts.
* Support the project team in all aspects of cost management, ensuring that the project stays within budget while achieving quality standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in high-end residential projects, ideally with a Tier One Main Contractor.
* In-depth knowledge of package management, variations, and remeasures within the construction industry.
* Experience working on super prime or luxury residential developments is highly desirable.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, CostX, or similar).
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (MRICS qualification is a plus).
Contract Details:
* Duration: Freelance 6 – 12 months
* Rate: £400 - £450 per day
* Start Date: ASAP
