We are proud to be working with 7 Forces Commercial Services who are currently seeking a Strategic Commercial Solutions Manager to join their team.
What will you be doing?
As Strategic Commercial Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for directing and providing thought leadership on all assigned complex and strategic commercial negotiations, innovations, and market developments to solve strategic issues, problems, or challenges across the 7 Forces.
You will act as a critical friend in providing expert commercial advice to lead clients’ teams across the 7 Forces to enable them to efficiently deliver their plans.
You will also network across 7 Force Commercial services and stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to strategy and market engagement.

· Ability to manage a complex strategic activity across multiple markets with a variety of stakeholders and experts to deliver solutions across all seven forces
· Strong interpersonal skills with the gravitas and ability to liaise successfully with staff/officers of all levels and external individuals, and to influence stakeholders within the 7 Forces and externally
· Very strong commercial acumen with the proven ability to identify commercial opportunities and negotiate at the highest levels
· Strong negotiating, influencing, interpersonal, political and communication skills
· Innovative thinking and impetus to drive through change and develop and enhance an integrated strategic commercial management function across the seven forces
· Good organisational and programme management skills to ensure delivery of results through to implementation
· Ability to travel as required throughout the UK.
· Delivery of significant corporate change in a planned and resilient manner
· Ability to lead, motivate and empower staff in a challenging strategic role
The post holder will hold MCIPS Level 6/WCC Advanced Practitioner in either Contract Management or Supplier Relationship Management or be able to clearly evidence equivalent levels of experience, technical knowledge and expertise by having worked as a leading Procurement / Supply Chain professional for a complex, public sector organisation.
You will have significant experience in commercial management and problem solving across high value contracts covering a range of categories, as well as knowledge and understanding of contract law and the application of Public Procurement Regulations and legislation.
