Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Level 3 qualified Childminder Assistant to provide exceptional childcare for our growing Montessori family. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong communication skills, and be able to manage various activities that promote early childhood development. This role requires a proactive individual who can create a safe and engaging environment for children while ensuring their well-being within a Childminding setting.
Duties
1. Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor activities.
2. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met.
3. Assist with mini educational tasks, fostering a love for learning.
4. Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after activities and meals.
5. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
6. Manage daily routines, including nap times and outings, ensuring children are safe at all times.
7. Drive children to and from school where necessary.
Requirements
1. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication.
2. Previous experience in childcare or a L3 in early childhood education is highly desirable.
3. Strong leadership skills to manage children's behaviour positively.
4. Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning and development in a childminding setting.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with both children and parents.
6. A genuine love for children and a commitment to their safety and well-being.
