Senior Landscape Architect Job in Newcastle Upon Tyne
I'm looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to join an employee-owned practice that focuses on designing sustainable, forward-thinking landscapes that bring people and places together. For this role, they are offering a salary up to £55,000 + EOT Bonus + 25 Days Holidays + Bank holidays.

Their work spans a wide range of projects, from unique, small-scale developments to major national schemes across public spaces, education, and renewable energy sectors.
Due to the natural growth of the company, they are now looking for experienced Landscape Architects with a particular interest in candidates with either exceptional design or LVIA skills, although a combination is also welcomed.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Lead the design process on a variety of landscape projects, from master planning to detailed design (for design-focused roles).
2. Undertake detailed LVIA work, including fieldwork, analysis, and reporting (for LVIA-focused roles).
3. Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding results.
4. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
5. Prepare high-quality design presentations, reports, and technical drawings.
6. Conduct site visits and assessments to inform design decisions.
7. Mentor and guide junior landscape architects in their professional development.
8. Contribute to the growth and development of the practice.
Required Skills & Experience
1. Chartered Landscape Architect with a minimum of 3 years post-CMLI experience.
2. Proven track record in delivering successful landscape projects.
3. For Design-focused roles: Strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit).
4. For LVIA-focused roles: Extensive experience in undertaking LVIAs, including knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines and GIS.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
6. Full UK driving licence is required.
