The Assistant Principal – Teaching, Learning and Curriculum will play a central role in shaping the quality of education across the school. As a senior leader, they will lead on the development and delivery of teaching and learning strategies that drive high standards, strong outcomes, and continuous improvement in classroom practice.
They will oversee the design, implementation, and review of the curriculum, ensuring it is inclusive, ambitious, and informed by industry developments and future-focused skills. A key part of the role will be supporting staff development at all levels, including leading CPD, coaching, and the structured support of early career teachers.
The post-holder will use data and insight to inform school improvement, champion a culture of professional growth, and ensure teaching practice reflects the school’s values and aspirations. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, they will also contribute to whole-school planning and play an active role in the day-to-day running and strategic direction of the school.
