Female Support Worker
Positions available: 14 hours per week and Relief
Location: Services in Pollock and surrounding areas
£12.00 per hour

You will enable them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support, along with encouraging them to develop positive relationships and to be an equal and valued member of their local community.
The service will mainly require day shifts: 9am-3pm, 10am- 2pm, 4pm-8pm though the service will require flexibility to cover a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
On a typical day you will promote independence and offer guidance with life skills such as: personal care, cooking and cleaning. The role also includes administering/ prompting medication as well as supporting individuals to attend appointments, socialise and lead fulfilled lives. Please note that this role will require manual handling support.
It would be advantageous if you have previous experience of support work, although this is not essential, as full training will be provided.
An enhanced Adult PVG is required for this role.
