Your next great adventure is just a click away!What you will doAs a pivotal member of our team, you will take the reins on designing, configuring, and operating cutting-edge building electronic systems, with a particular focus on security system design including access control (ACS), video surveillance (CCTV), intruder detection systems (IDS) and perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS)Your role is not just about compliance; it's about ensuring safety and efficiency in the environments we help create. Collaborating with field teams, you will be responsible for the quality and timeliness of designs, developing complex software solutions, and troubleshooting to guarantee top-notch operation. Your expertise will bridge communications among customers, consultants, and installation teams, making a real impact on projects worldwide.How you will do itDesign and Engineering: Security Designs: Developing security systems including CCTV, ACS, IDS, and PIDS for projects ranging from small scale to over $5 million.Collaboration: Project/Sales Teams: Working closely with project and sales teams post-design to ensure smooth project management, sales, and engineering processes.Client/Supplier Communications: Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors through effective communication.Documentation: Software Proficiency: Skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for documentation purposes.Site Surveys: Conducting site surveys to gather all necessary information for developing comprehensive security designs.What we look forUniversity degree in Electronics engineering or proven experience in integrated security project designA background in Fire Alarm, Security, Nurse Call, CCTV, and/or Construction Industries, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various electronic building systems.Proven drafting/CAD skills, project management experience, and digital literacy; familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Adobe).Exceptional ability to read and interpret architectural and electrical diagrams.Fluency in English language with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective collaboration.Good verbal and written EnglishHighly motivated, quick to learnOur cultureAt Johnson Controls you’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting projects in today’s market.
