Job Description:
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are seeking an experienced Side Loader FLT driver to join our busy client in Kirkby in Ashfield. Our client supply timber and timber related products and a looking for a combi driver to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Working as a part of a team, within a fast paced, busy timber yard, your duties will include:
1. Picking timber from locations using a side loader / combi FLT
2. Some physical work / manual labour when required
3. Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries when required
4. Keeping the yard tidy, free from packaging and adhering to health and safety on site
About You:
1. You carry a side loader / combi FLT license - Must be accredited
2. You are looking for long term, permanent employment
3. You are comfortable working in all weathers in an outdoor environment
4. Must have safety boots and hi viz
5. A degree of physical fitness due to the manual labour side of the role
The Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7am - 4:45pm & Friday 7am - 3:30pm
Pay:
£13.50ph, time and a third is paid at £17.88ph after completing 50 hours
