Here at Yarls Wood Immigration Centre, we are looking for a Workforce Management Administrator to join our team. The role of the Workforce Management Administrator is to work as part of a team, ensuring effective management of staff leave and scheduling. They need to ensure leave is reviewed in a timely manner and actioned in line with company policy and effectively capture any shifts that are to be scheduled on the company’s in-house system.
Key Accountabilities:
* Managing staff leave, ensuring adherence to a leave threshold system and being the point of contact for staff with leave queries.
* Overseeing and responding to the functional inbox.
* Agreeing shift swaps amongst colleagues and actioning on the system.
* Working closely with the Detail Coordinator to help in agreeing overtime with staff if required.
* Ensuring training dates for staff are added to the staff schedule on the system.
* Updating and maintaining staff information, such as contact details and lateness reports.
* Contributing to the delivery and achievement of all performance measures, contract outcomes, and locally agreed targets including KPI’s/CDIs as outlined in your personal development review.
* Adhering to the Code of Conduct.
What you will need:
* GCSEs – Maths, English
* Strong IT literacy - competence and ability with Excel in particular is important in this role
* The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all grades
* Collaborative team worker
* Solid organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate workload based on deadlines
* Sound ethical and professional standards
* Confident and credible
* Ability/experience in working within a busy environment.
* Ability to multi-task varied and demanding workloads.
* Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to the Serco Code of Conduct and local policies and procedures.
