We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (Adult) to join our Primary Care team at HMP Warren Hill, a Male Prison located in Woodbridge.

The site currently offers shifts across Monday to Sunday including bank holidays.
Hours:
Mon - Fri: 7.30-19.30
Sat - Sun: 07.30-17.30
You will be expected to work 1 in 3 weekends and the hours are routinely worked over 4 days.
Salary:
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £40,211 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
* Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications & Experience Required
* Registered nurse Adult
* Current professional qualification (NMC)
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
* Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards
