Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Manager to lead the delivery of pre-Construction P6 Programmes and construction phase preparation scheduling for mechanical, EC&I, and HVAC scopes at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics.
The successful candidate will oversee multiple sub-work packs, suppliers, and site sub-contractors, ensuring collaborative work within established safety, quality, health, environmental, schedule, and cost standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop Standardised P6 Planning Work Packages
Using AIMS SOPs and Client Procedures, develop standardised P6 planning work packages that meet project requirements.
* Create Project Specific Schedules
Create project specific schedules with clear activity links for multifunctional project team interfaces, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
* Iterate Project Schedules
Iterate project schedules through Levels 1-4 for offsite and onsite execution activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date project information.
* Compile Planning 'Norms'
Assist in compiling planning 'norms' from statistical data and develop programmes with alignment across Mech, EC&I, and HVAC teams, promoting best practices and consistency.
* Optimise P6 Programmes
Optimise P6 programmes with suppliers, Client functions, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and resource allocation.
* Manage Cost and Resource Loaded P6 Programmes
Manage cost and resource loaded P6 Programmes, providing regular updates and insights to support informed decision-making.
* Monitor P6 Programmes
Monitor P6 programmes for Work Packs activity and Interfaces, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
* Highlight and Manage Variations
Highlight and manage Variations proactively with the WP team, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
* Forecast, Trend, and Analyse EPC and Construction Schedule Activities
Forecast, trend, and analyse EPC and construction schedule activities, providing valuable insights to support project success.
* Build Event Profiles and Report Forecasts
Build event profiles and report forecasts, enabling proactive planning and decision-making.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in programme management.
