About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our care homes, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the maintenance and repair of all care home facilities, including buildings, gardens, and grounds.
* Lead a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
* Liaise with contractors and suppliers to manage maintenance projects and budgets.
* Work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement maintenance strategies that meet the needs of our residents and staff.
About You
* You will have a strong background in property maintenance, with experience of managing a team and overseeing maintenance projects.
* You will be a skilled tradesperson, with a proven ability to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks.
* You will be reliable, flexible, and able to work well under pressure.
* You will have a full UK driving licence and be IT literate.
