In this role, you will be responsible for testing systems and working on various projects to ensure smooth operations. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial as you log and resolve Aderant (Practice Management and Time Recording system) issues, providing support to the wider business. As the first point of contact for technical issues on Aderant, you will collaborate closely with our finance and IT departments. You will find solutions for user queries via the support portal and guides and Aderant support groups. Additionally, you will handle email queries, offering timely and effective solutions, working closely alongside our Finance Systems Analyst. You will be involved in a variety of projects and play a crucial part in ensuring our finance systems run seamlessly making this an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within the firm. This role is being considered on both a part-time and full-time basis. As the Finance Systems Administrator you will: Act as a key point of contact for the Practice Management System central support service, routing queries, managing to completion effectively and ensuring proactive communication with internal stakeholders. Working with the Finance Systems Analyst and wider Finance and IT Teams, ensuring key processes are documented and kept up to date as appropriate, paying particular attention to Operational Finance system queries and challenges. Collaborate with the Data Team on system changes required to improve data accuracy and completeness. Work alongside Business Analysts and the Project Management Office to effectively implement upgrades and improvements to Finance Systems, ensuring best practice is followed rigorously. Support the Finance Systems Analyst in disseminating knowledge across the Finance Team, delivering informal training where appropriate. Act as the main point of contact for the creation of fixed fees in one of the fee earning teams, acting promptly when requests are received. Deal with all matters ensuring compliance with ISO standards. Any further reasonable duties as required. We are looking for: Experience of working within a similar role or previous experience in a legal role such as a legal cashier, legal secretary or legal PA looking to specialise within finance. Open to both full time and part time applications. Good knowledge and experience of Operational Finance is desirable but not essential. Good IT skills, to include in depth experience of Excel, plus good working knowledge of Word and Outlook. Good organisational and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail. Can operate flexibly as part of a team and be comfortable multi-tasking. Be adaptable and comfortable with managing priorities. Self-motivated with a high level of enthusiasm and commitment. Understand the importance of and demonstrate a professional and commercial attitude and approach at all times. Some of our benefits include: Salary reflective of your experience, circa. £30,000. Earn up to 10% of your salary with our annual bonus scheme.
