Job Description Bristol Site Executive – SDE & JPET (Submarines) Full-time Bristol / Hybrid - 60:40 Onsite / Remote – With Travel What you will be doing Join us as Bristol Site Executive, where you will lead our Submarine Delivery Enterprise and Joint Platform Engineering Teams. In this role you will have a unique opportunity to work with wide-ranging stakeholders, drawing on submarine programme knowledge, data, and information from diverse sources to deliver integrated portfolio performance assessments, targeted enterprise improvement activities, platform availability optimisations and wider engineering support to customers and partners. Responsibilities In role, you will work closely with industrial partners across the full platform system and lifecycle, cohering networks, knowledge, information, and data. You will lead teams to deliver programme and engineering assessments which identify critical enterprise issues and common root causes, engaging collaboratively to craft change options for the consideration of enterprise leaders and MoD customers. Strong experience in critical, analytical, and strategic thinking - with an ability to translate findings to compelling value propositions for senior audiences – is key in this role. As Bristol Site Executive, you will lead the Rolls-Royce Submarines teams working out of Bristol The Submarine Delivery Enterprise: A MoD, Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems and Babcock ‘rainbow’ team tasked with collaboratively assessing options to enhance UK submarine capacity and capability. This starts with integrated portfolio assessments; from which specific feasibility studies, value cases and projects are defined and delivered. The Joint Platform Engineering Team: A MoD, Rolls-Royce and Babcock team tasked with understanding and targeting availability-driving maintenance factors for optimisation, focusing on policy level change justification cases and customer support, to empower long-term enterprise effectiveness. In this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to : Lead uniquely collaborative teams tasked with identifying, characterising, and delivering enterprise options for ‘do different’ – working closely with enterprise stakeholders to justify (define benefits) and embody (establish projects). Drive collaborative engagement to assure alignment of teams to customer and enterprise priorities, via senior boards and continuous development of local strategies. Set team priorities to balance competing customer asks. Create the vision for long-term development and growth of Rolls-Royce Submarines Bristol teams, working with partners to define future requirements and lead on developing the resource and capabilities to deliver against them.
