Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Dudley MBC, Children's Care Management Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.
The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
The responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting children in care who have had adverse and complex experiences, leading to additional emotional health needs and attachment strategies.
2. Working with a jointly commissioned multi-agency team to help children maintain placement stability and find early permanence.
3. Redesigning the service to effectively address the key priority of early permanence for all children.
4. Assisting in the day-to-day management of the service alongside the clinical lead.
5. Representing the service at various decision-making panels to ensure care is provided for children with additional emotional health needs.
6. Attending Child Permanence meetings and Placement Disruption meetings to support the permanence agenda.
Working Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
Contract Duration: 6 month Temporary Contract
Start Date: Subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
