Junior Ecologist (Manchester or East Midlands)
We are looking for a number of highly motivated junior ecologists to join our CIEEM Registered Practice ecology teams in the North West and East Midlands.

The roles
We are looking for junior ecologists that are keen to develop their skills and progress their career as ecological consultants. These roles are offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis in the first instance, but may be extended. You will become a valued member of our ecology team and will gain experience in a wide range of ecology projects including protected species surveys, desk studies, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments. You will be paired with a member of the team who will act as your mentor and have the opportunity to develop your field survey, report writing, and project management skills with access to both formal and informal training.
We are looking for people that have the following attributes:
* A confident self-starter with a passion for ecological consultancy
* Problem solver and critical thinker
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good knowledge of UK wildlife legislation
* Have a full UK driving licence.
