What You'll Do As a Parts Assistant, once a policy holder's vehicle has had its damage assessed and an estimate for repair has been produced, the parts assistant orders the parts required for full repairs to be made. You will be responsible for all aspects of ordering, pricing and administration - even sourcing parts that are unavailable through the usual channels. Plus, the stock control for all paint and consumables, collaborating with our bodyshop technicians and providing high levels of customer contact and communications throughout the vehicle repairs. You will report to your Parts Manager. You will oversee appropriate parts provision service and communication. You will oversee Health and Safety regulations, company health and safety procedures appropriate to this role. You will ensure all relevant legal requirements are met and any records are correctly maintained. What You'll Need This is a permanent role, 40 hours a week. You will have previous experience in a similar role. You will have a parts background gained in a bodyshop environment. As you can imagine, Health and Safety and working to industry standards are important to us. We always ensure our teams' and customers' safety at each stage of the repair process, ensuring tasks are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety and following Audatex estimates, observing DLGAS ways of working and BS10125 procedures.
