About the Role:
This position supports the manufacturing of existing and new product ranges, focusing on LEAN Manufacturing culture and continual improvement.
You will develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products and utilises NPI process standards to mitigate risks and ensure suitability of changes to existing and new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Define and implement production BOMs and processes to support manufacturing requirements.
* Identify technical issues and assist in defining root cause.
* Communicate issues clearly in a timely manner.
* Create and maintain manufacturing method sheets / work instructions and routings as required.

Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per annum

Requirements:
* Knowledge of waste reduction activities in a manufacturing environment.
* LEAN / 6 sigma tools desirable.
* Experience in process planning.
* Experience liaising with suppliers.
* Knowledge of 3D CAD use desirable.
* Minimum of HND/HNC in an engineering or scientific discipline and/or suitable work experience.
* Understanding and experience of VSM (Value Stream Mapping) processes.
