Role Summary
The Triple Point Energy team manages a number of pools of capital, all with a mandate to accelerate the transition to Net Zero. The funds we manage are invested into both debt and equity investments.
Following rapid growth in our lending activities, we are looking for a portfolio manager to come on board to help oversee our loan investments in the Energy Transition. This is a newly created role as a function of our growth, and as such we are looking for someone who can both help shape our approach to loan portfolio management as well as manage a portfolio of loans.
Getting to Net Zero is going to require a new type of lender, with the mainstream banking sector slow to adapt to the new business models that are emerging as part of the energy transition. Non-bank lenders, such as Triple Point, are well placed to provide the capital required to get to Net Zero in areas such as Battery Energy Storage and development stage lending.
Triple Point manages over £1bn of lending assets across a range of economic sectors and is well known throughout the market for being a leading lender to UK businesses.
The combination of leveraging nearly 20 years of lending track record, combined with the fast-growing opportunities in the Energy Transition sector, makes this a compelling role for the right candidate.
