Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC) is one of the most established and cutting-edge Children’s Hospitals in the UK, located in the centre of the beautiful city of Bristol.
We currently have rare opportunity for 2 full time positions & 1 part time position as Senior Staff Nurse, for 10 to 12 month fixed term contracts.
Starlight Ward is our paediatric oncology, haematology, and bone marrow transplant ward. We are the principal treatment centre in the South West for haematology and oncology and an international referral centre for bone marrow transplant.

Qualifications and Training
* Current NMC Registration
* 1st Degree in nursing or health related subject or working towards
* Qualification in Teaching, assessing and Mentoring
* Experienced in chemotherapy administration
* Willingness to work towards Masters level academic study
Public Sector Language Competency
* Be able to speak fluent English to an appropriate standard.
Knowledge & Experience
* Appropriate post registration experience in nursing and speciality
* Appropriate proven leadership and management experience
* Proven commitment and experience, evidence in teaching
* Experience as preceptor / mentor
* Experience of undertaking research or audit projects
* Evidence of commitment to research based practice or evidence of project work undertaken
* Understanding or knowledge of a Day Unit
