Qualified Social Worker – Adults, HICaF Team

About the Role:
Join Myn in partnership with our long-term client in the north-west of England, supporting adults with varying needs through our HICaF team. We are seeking a Level 3 Social Worker who is skilled in managing complex cases, assessing risks, and creating effective interventions that improve quality of life. This is an impactful role requiring dedication, expert practice, and a strong collaborative spirit.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Conduct in-depth assessments and determine support needs for individuals, ensuring risks are effectively managed.
Coordinate care and access to services that empower adults, enhance independence, and maintain their wellbeing.
Work closely with other professionals, agencies, and service users to gather vital information and advocate for best practices.
Create, maintain, and manage case records with accuracy, delivering high-quality assessments and reports.
Offer expert insight, advice, and support in multidisciplinary settings, including case conferences and team meetings.
Actively participate in supervision sessions, training, and staff meetings to continuously develop your expertise.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications: BA in Social Work or equivalent, registered with Social Work England, with successful completion of ASYE or equivalent experience.
Experience: Significant practice in Adult Social Care, especially with older people, adults with learning disabilities, sensory disabilities, or rehabilitation services.
Skills & Knowledge:
Solid understanding of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding standards.
Proficient in person-centred support planning, outcome-focused assessments, and strengths-based approaches.
Skilled in resource allocation and partnership collaboration.
Knowledge of social care IT systems (experience with CareFirst 6 desirable).
