Job summary
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities team as a Facilities Operative working within Domestic Services. This post will be based at North Resource Centre.
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who is committed to enhancing the patient & customer experience, therefore you must have a passion for providing a high level of customer service.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
The post-holder will undertake a range of specific work functions across the Facilities service.
The hours will be:
Week 1 - Wednesday 07:30 - 12:30, Thursday 14:00 - 19:00 & Saturday 07:30 - 12:30
Week 2 - Sunday 14:00 - 19:00, Tuesday 07:30 - 12:30 & Wednesday 14:00 - 19:00
Main duties of the job
The duties within each function will be set out in the relevant job schedules. The assignment of these duties will meet the priority needs and demands of the service as identified by the manager/supervisor. The post-holder will therefore be expected to take a flexible approach to their duties, and must also be able to cover rosters.
The post holders will be required to work days/afternoons/evenings and weekends.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

1. Basic general education

3. Willingness to undertake & complete the ABUHB facilities competency workbook (within 6 months)
4. Willingness to undertake & complete statutory & mandatory training including Basic Food Hygiene certificate
