The Teaching Assistant Job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to work with young students with mild learning needs and a diagnosis of autism. You will provide one-on-one support, helping students engage with their learning and develop independence, literacy and mathematics skills. If you have patience, creativity, and a desire to make a real impact in the lives of these pupils, we would be happy to hear from you!

The Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
10. Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
11. Promote pupil's independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
12. Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
13. Support with planning, preparation and resourcing for lessons
14. Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities
15. Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy and procedures
16. Organise and manage teaching space and resources to help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment
