Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing: The extrusion department consists of several blown film lines including mono, co-ext and barrier machines, and runs a variety of materials, blends, and products to meet customer requirements. The successful person will set up production equipment as effectively as possible and contribute to the shift, meeting demands in terms of production, waste, quality, housekeeping and health & safety. As a Machine Operative you will play a pivotal role in creating high quality products for our customers. You will be: Setting and operating machines, working on a production line Regularly checking machines during operation to ensure the highest quality of product is produced Labelling and packing items ready for dispatch Conducting quality checks of the product Meeting production targets Completing production paperwork Completing daily checks Follow Safe Working Practices Adhere to Health & Safety and environmental procedures and regulations A Few Things About You: Blown Film Extrusion Experience - desirable You must be a team player, be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency and self-discipline to get the work done as you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers. You will also have a great eye for detail as Quality is very important to us. Ideally you will have experience working as a machine operator. Full training will be provided You must also be comfortable working flexible hours on a continental shift pattern, working days, nights, and weekends. This role requires standing for long periods. When You’ll Be Working: You will be working a rotating 4-week pattern, working rotating days and nights, hours from 07.00am/19:00pm to 19.00pm/07:00am. You will be working 12 hour shifts (stood up).
