Job Vacancy: Level 2 Nursery Assistant
Location: Oxford
Position: Full or Part-Time (Flexible Hours)
Salary: Up to £25,001 per annum depending on experience and availability of working hours
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Level 2 Nursery Assistant to become part of our dynamic team! This permanent role provides the flexibility to work either full-time or part-time, depending on your availability. If you are passionate about early years education and enjoy working with children, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the daily routines and activities within the nursery
* Inspire and support children’s development through creative and engaging activities, especially in arts and crafts
* Help plan and deliver learning experiences tailored to meet the children’s individual needs
* Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children feel valued
* Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and motivating atmosphere for children and staff alike
* Encourage children’s physical, emotional, and social growth through structured play and activities
* Manage multiple tasks effectively, maintaining high standards of care and responsiveness, even under pressure
About You:
* Full and relevant Early Years qualification (essential)
* An Enhanced DBS check (we can assist you with obtaining a new DBS if required)
* A real passion for working with children and positively impacting their development
* Open, compassionate, and nurturing with an approachable manner
* Enthusiastic about early years education, especially in creative and playful activities
* Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure
* Friendly, adaptable, and a team player
