Job Title: Assistant Building Surveyor\n\nSalary: £28,000 - £32,000\n\nLocation: Manchester\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Building Surveyor to make a name for themselves at a built environment specialist company.\n\nAs an Assistant Building Surveyor, you will be involved in delivering new and existing projects, contributing to key client development, and actively learning from experienced team members.\n\nKey Responsibilities for the Assistant Building Surveyor:\n\nMaintain effective communication with clients, addressing inquiries, and providing professional advice on building-related matters.\n Stay updated on relevant building regulations and codes, ensuring all projects adhere to legal and safety standards.\nPrepare clear and concise reports outlining survey findings, recommendations, and solutions for clients.\nDevelop technical Building Surveying knowledge and skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. \n\nRole Requirements for the Assistant Building Surveyor:\n\nMust have at least 2 years experience as a building surveyor\nMust be ambitious about getting chartership or working towards APC\nHave experience in project management and contract administration \n\nWhat's on offer for the Assistant Building Surveyor?\n\nA competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000\nGreat pension scheme of 5%\n25 days of annual leave + public holidays with the option to buy/sell 5 days a year\nDiscretionary bonus\nPrivate health insurance\nAPC and professional fees paid \n\nWhat happens next:\n\nOn receipt of your application our dedicated Surveying and Project Management recruiter, Max Dunnigan, will contact you to discuss this opportunity in full detail.
