, United Kingdom Job Family Group: Trading Jobs Worker Type: Regular Posting Start Date: March 31, 2025 Business unit: Experience Level: Experienced Professionals Job Description: As the ClCM Process Lead you be responsible for the creation and improvement of CLCM Onboarding processes; providing SME input into CLCM onboarding process improvements in how we onboard our Counterparties. Important to note that the CLCM Process Lead will need to deliver through others as the 6 steps process associated with the CP Onboarding, Screening, Re-Review, RKYC, and Offboarding requirements will be a collective deliverable amongst the CEI Team. This role is the Lead and should ensure there is connected-delivery amongst the Team, as opposed to high individual contribution. You will work with stakeholders from across the business (e.g. Lines of Business, Compliance, FO Data etc) and at all levels of the organization to identify and implement process and design improvements for onboarding. You will also drive adoption of the CLCM Competency Framework. You will be responsible to work with your CLCM Team Members who are responsible for deactivation, re-review, and RKYC process steps to identify opportunities, outline potential values and mitigate risks, by providing leadership and expertise throughout the design and improvement of onboarding applications and software. You will apply your knowledge of operational excellence and experience in managing process enhancements to support the continued growth and performance of CLCM. More specifically, your role will include: Act as a LOD 1 Onboarding SME for CLCM related queries and issues within T&S Act as point of contact to the businesses in providing SME input into CLCM onboarding process improvement activities and partner with leaders in the Lines of Business, Compliance, FO Data and the IPRC to resolve any issues within the overall CLCM Onboarding process Support the business to manage change across process, people, platform (e.g. new system/tool), place (e.g. relocation). Function as a contract holder for key onboarding services and/or applications. Ensure the business has up to date, maintained onboarding process documentation that supports standard processes, and yield decision making Ensure appropriate Control framework is in place and follow up on any necessary process remediation for Business Control, CLE or audit findings. The role will require that you have experience managing transformational process improvement across a complex organisation with insight on industry best practice. Also, it will require you have the ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies such as role alignment, process gaps and overlaps. Combined with this you will also have experience influencing teams without direct authority across various project change to ensure proposed solutions are implemented. To enable you in this role, not only will you require excellent leadership and communication skills but strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to socialize and “sell” the solutions you propose to senior stakeholders in the business. You will be able to inspire project delivery partners to work towards practical goals that have a real impact on our counterparties’ experience of doing business with Shell. As part of the broader CEI team, you will also have a responsibility to help drive and deliver our vision, working autonomously and as a team to deliver on our portfolio of change activity. Furthermore, you will have At least 5 - 8 years’ experience of counterparty due diligence, Know Your Customer with knowledge of global financial crime regulatory and legal requirements Demonstrated experience in business process design with full command of how the business operates across LoaD Level 3 (workflow, roles, handoffs and controls) Analytical, curious mindset with drive to improve the CLCM experience for a Counterparty and ways of working for those executing the process. Comfortable operating in a fluid environment. Flexible and adaptive approaches based on learnings to drive improvements Curious mindset with ability to think outside the box to drive continuous improvement to customer experience and internal processes Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with Diploma/Certificate in AML or Financial Crime desirable. Robust written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization and engage with a wide range of stakeholder’s Demonstrated ability to motivate, develop and drive performance and encourage positive team dynamics. Effective communication skills, as well as robust analytical skills, especially the ability to identify cause-effect relationships, patterns, implications of data, and be able to integrate pieces into a meaningful conclusion. Skilled in using PowerPoint and Excel to present and structure information Stakeholder engagement skills to manage relationships across different businesses and functions. Exhibit resilience at work.
