Job Description Job Title - Senior Corporate Account Broker/Handler - Insurance Contract - Permanent Location - Central Manchester Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 package Industry - Insurance Broker A highly respected global corporate brokerage is looking to appoint an experienced Broking professional to its Manchester operation to work on a panel of complex (often international) cases. The Company The business has refreshing approach to insurance with senior management boasting considerable experience of the national/corporate environment The focus is on quality rather than quantity and this is reflected in the businesses they can name as clients and the prospects they target. This opportunity exists due to ongoing organic growth. Your role Working on an allocated portfolio of corporate entities (typically turning over in excess of £200m p/a) you will contribute to all aspects of corporate broking - from building insurance programmes preparing presentation and renewals and negotiating with the insurer market to providing sound insurance and risk management advice to your clients. Cases come from a range of industry sectors and will test your technical knowledge - many are international and will require bespoke solutions. You You will demonstrate strong knowledge of corporate broking working with cases paying fees up to (and preferably exceeding) £100k. You will be at home interacting with stakeholders at large clients as well as negotiating with the Manchester insurer market on your caseload. You will thrive in a business driven by quality rather than KPIs and SLAs and able to take responsibility for your own day. ACII qualification is preferred but not essential.
